Sigma 30mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens for MFT (Micro Four Thirds) Features:

As part of the Contemporary line within Sigma's Global Vision series, this lens is designed to achieve a balance between convenience and performance, and meshes a compact, lightweight build and versatile handling with notable optical attributes.

Great low light performance and striking depth of field

The lens features a super-fast maximum aperture of f/1.4, this enables the lens to transfer up to 8 times more light to the sensor than a conventional zoom lens at the same focal length, and enables the camera to capture sharp and blur free images, even in low/dim light. The large f/1.4 aperture, combined with the 9-blade aperture, also enables you to capture a shallow depth of field, which will enable you to isolate your subject from the background for visually striking images.

Great optical performance

The Sigma 30mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens features a optical construction that includes three aspherical elements, a High-Refractive Index Element, and a Super Multi-Layer Coating. These elements and coatings effectively reduces chromatic aberrations, flares, and ghosting to provide sharp and artefact free images.

Fast and near silent internal autofocus system with manual override

The lens integrates a stepping AF motor to provide fast, precise, and near-silent autofocus performance.

Constructed using a Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) material for greater precision and use in wide temperature variations. Additionally, a brass bayonet affords improved mounting accuracy and rigidity.
