The Insta360 X6 is the latest flagship 360° action camera, featuring larger dual 1/1.1-inch sensors, a Triple AI Chip Architecture and native 8K50fps recording for improved image quality and low-light performance over the previous generation.

Capture immersive 360° video, shoot conventional action footage in Single-Lens Mode up to 5K60fps, or automatically create ready-to-share flat videos with InstaFrame 2.0.

Professional creators benefit from 10-bit colour, I-Log and Dolby Vision support, while 20m waterproofing, Replaceable Lenses 2.0, a compact 195g body and long battery life suit travel, adventure and everyday filming. The X6 introduces several upgrades, starting with larger dual 1/1.1-inch sensors that increase the imaging area by 33%. This delivers improved low-light performance, dynamic range and detail. A new Triple AI Chip Architecture provides greater processing power for real-time stitching, denoising and image stabilisation while supporting native 8K50fps 360° recording.

Colour workflows have also expanded with native Dolby Vision recording, 10-bit colour and I-Log, while AdaptiveTone 2.0 improves highlight and shadow retention in high-contrast scenes. Replaceable Lenses 2.0 feature a stronger design with simpler replacement and lower replacement costs than the previous generation.

Triple AI Chip Architecture

A 4nm 8-core CPU works alongside two dedicated imaging chips to handle colour calibration, denoising, image processing, stitching and FlowState stabilisation in real time. Dedicated processors improve efficiency while supporting H.265 recording at bitrates up to 240Mbps.

Three Cameras in One

Capture immersive 360° video, switch to Single-Lens Mode for conventional action camera footage up to 5K60fps or 4K120fps, or use InstaFrame 2.0 to simultaneously save an automatically reframed flat video alongside the original 360° recording.

Professional Colour and HDR
