Designed for close-up shooting, the Fujifilm XF80mm F/2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro Lens is a 122mm equivalent telephoto prime for X-mount mirrorless cameras. The long focal length coupled with the f/2.8 maximum aperture is well-suited to isolating subject matter, especially when paired with the short 9.8" minimum focusing distance, and a 1:1 life-size magnification is ideal for macro shooting.

Silent Autofocus

The lens also provides a fast and silent Auto Focus system by adopting linear motors. The exterior design is luxurious yet robust, so you can get premium feel. The aperture and focusing rings have been designed to be comfortable and easy to use. It is also weather and dust resistant and can operate in temperatures as low as -10 degree Celsius, so it is suitable for use in a wide range of outdoor shooting conditions. A fluorine coating has also been applied to the front lens element to repel water and dirt, further improving the toughness of the lens.

High Performance Design

An optical construction of 16 elements in 12 groups, including one aspherical lens, one Super ED lens, and three ED lenses suppress chromatic aberrations. By arranging the ED lenses in a well- balanced position, spherical aberrations are suppressed thanks to secure high resolution performance.

Floating Focus System

The XF 80mm lens adopts a Floating Focus System. This AF method divides the focus lens group into a Front Focus Group and a Rear Focus Group and drives them depending on the shooting distance with high accuracy. This AF system leads to high resolution when shooting macro, where aberrations can become easily noticeable. The Ball Slide System controls lens movement by arranging ceramic balls along the guide rail. This system makes it possible to achieve high image quality from the center to the edge by suppressing any inclination of the two focus lens groups and keep its clearance with high accuracy.

Compatible with optional XF 1.4x TC WR and XF 2x TC WR teleconverters for extending the effective focal length to an equivalent 171mm and 244mm, respectively.
