The Brother L14s is an economic entry level sewing machine with all of the basic functions needed for simple alterations and repairs. This basic model has 14s different stitches: straight stiches of varying lengths and one with the needle positioned to the left for sewing along edges, zigzag stitches, blind hem stitches, satin stitch, an elastic stitch and a 4-step buttonhole.
