The flagship of the EOS R line, this mirrorless camera sports a full-frame 24MP BSI stacked sensor, DIGIC Accelerator processing, next-gen Dual Pixel Intelligent AF, and the robust design expected from a professional workhorse.

This full-frame professional camera uses Cross Type AF for extra sensitivity and tracks moving subjects even when they are momentarily obscured from view. Eye Control AF lets you select subjects just by looking at them.

With Action Priority mode, the EOS R1 recognises key subjects in football, basketball and volleyball and moves the AF according to the action¹. This makes it easier to capture unpredictable moments, such as a shot on goal made from a long pass.

A great camera for fast-moving objects, with a customisable continuous shooting speed of up to 40fps. A groundbreaking stacked sensor enables a 1/64,000 sec top shutter speed and virtually zero rolling-shutter distortion. Pre-Continuous shooting lets photographers capture moments from before the shutter release is pressed.

Shoot superb 6K 60p RAW video, as well as 4K 120p and Full HD 240p in a variety of industry-standard formats. Dual Pixel CMOS AF with eye detection ensures smooth focus tracking.

The EOS R1 uses deep-learning to upscale images in-camera by as much as four times. It uses the same technology for noise reduction, preserving fine detail while removing any noise at high ISO sensitivities.

Only available for still photos and electronic shutter. If the person's size on the screen is small, or if part of the subject is hidden or multiple subjects are crowded together, identification accuracy may decrease.

In-camera resizing or cropping and in-camera upscaling are not available for frame-grabbed still photos.Movie recording does not stop during still photo shooting.
