The Canon EOS R50 Camera Black with RF-S 18-45mm Lens Kit combines compact size and low weight, with versatility for content creators who want an effective zoom to complement the APS-C format EOS R mirrorless camera. The R50 body is the smallest and lightest in the range, yet provides great features to explore your creativity and help make the leap from smartphone content creation into Canon’s mirrorless ecosystem.
You can capture stunning 24.2 megapixel photos and high-quality oversampled 4K/30p video, whilst harnessing Canon’s powerful Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, which tracks humans, animals and vehicles with ease. The camera body is designed to be as compact and easy-to-use as possible, with the addition of a smaller grip, 3-inch vari-angle touchscreen and easy modes, such as Vertical orientation for social media.
The RF-S 18-45mm lens included with this EOS R50 kit, provides an equivalent 29-72mm zoom range (in full-frame format), which is versatile enough to capture everything from landscapes and portraits to travel and city shots. The lens features STM technology, which is also found in high-end Canon lenses, which is quick, quiet and effective for both stills and video recording.
