Styling without extreme heat: Dyson Airwrap Complete Nickel/Copper

The Airwrap Complete is powered by the Dyson digital motor V9, which generates the air pressure needed to create the Coanda effect. No extreme heat is required to style your hair – gone are the days when you had to worry about damage caused by daily heat styling. To maintain a consistent temperature, intelligent heat control measures the airflow temperature up to 40 times per second. The combination of damp hair, a powerful airflow, and a temperature that is always kept below 150°C allows the multi-styler to style and dry at the same time without causing excessive damage. 

How Dyson Airwrap Complete Nickel/Copper works 

An aerodynamic phenomenon called the Coanda effect attracts and wraps hair around the barrel. Hair is styled by a continuous airflow instead of heat. The curling attachment can be adjusted so that it rotates in both directions. Ideal for curls and waves!

Dyson Airwrap Complete Nickel/Copper: Drying mode or smoothing mode 

Even stubborn flyaways are easily tamed by the Dyson Airwrap. The Coanda smoothing dryer attachment is specifically designed to control frizz and flyaways while creating a smooth and shiny finish. Depending on the desired result, you can choose between the drying mode and the smoothing mode. 

Using the cool tip at the top of the Coanda smoothing dryer, you can switch between the two modes. In drying mode, a powerful jet of air takes your hair from wet to damp. It works just like the original pre-drying styler. To select the smoothing mode, turn the cool tip by 180 degrees until it clicks. In this mode, which should only be used on dry hair, two jets of air work simultaneously to push hair along the curvature of the attachment using the Coanda effect. Flyaways are hidden and a smooth finish is achieved. To choose the right airflow direction for each half of the head, place the attachment on your head, parallel to the crown and push down carefully until you hear a clicking sound. Now, air flows out in the right direction. 

How to change Dyson Airwrap attachments

Press the release button and pull the attachment straight up. This button does not have to be pushed when attaching the smoothing dryer, barrels or brushes. 

New Dyson Airwrap Complete: One barrel for clockwise and anti-clockwise curls

Unlike previous versions of the Airwrap, this new Dyson Airwrap Complete in nickel and copper comes with 2 curling attachments instead of 4. Each barrel can rotate in a clockwise and anti-clockwise direction. Use the cool tip at the top of the barrel to change the direction of the airflow. 

Tip: The filter of your Dyson Airwrap should be cleaned on a regular basis, ideally once a month. The filter cage can easily be removed because it is magnetic.
